When You Call To Book Say “Hi, It’s Me (so and so)”

My dad used to get any reservation in the city by calling and saying “Hi it’s me, Steve Vogel.” To be clear, he was…nobody. but here’s the thing, make a person believe you’re a regular—or important enough that they should of course know you by your full name. Most hotspots don’t have phones anymore, but there’s still plenty of hospitality booking that relies on a quick introduction—and I’m a believer that confidence goes a long way.
